Yaron Lischinsky, an Israeli embassy staff member with German roots, was shot dead at the age of 30 on May 21, 2025, together with his fiancée, Sarah Milgrim, by an antisemitic terrorist outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C.
